5 Weeks / Wednesdays, 6:00-9:00pm
Build confidence in technical skills and the ability to look at art critically. For five weeks we will cover fundamental drawing techniques in a variety of materials. Using the vocabulary of the elements of art: line, value, shape, form, and texture, we will cover gesture drawing, contour lines, negative space, shading and the intricacies of light, and one-point and two-point perspective applied to interior spaces, urban spaces, still life drawings and the human head.
