Woodturning Fundamentals

6 Weeks / Thursdays, 6:00-9:00pm

Learn the basics of woodturning while transforming raw pieces of wood into functional and beautiful turned items. Working on wood lathes, students will learn safe and efficient woodturning techniques along with proper turning tool usage. This class is designed for beginners and those wanting to continue building on the skills learned in previous woodturning classes. Students will choose from projects such as mortar & pestle, candlestick, spurtles, honey dipper, spinning top, small vases, wine bottle stopper, rolling pin, and bowls.
